Lithium Batteries in baggage continue to be a greater concern, in my opinion, than properly prepared and documented lithium battery cargo shipments.
The travelling public is generally unaware of the dangers these little devices can cause if not handled or packed properly. "We carry them around with us all day and nothing every happens, how can the be so dangerous???" When I tell my friends about them, they look at me like an alien.
We really should do more to inform the public on the dangers of these items and how to pack them for travel.
